It’s been just revealed that Remy Ma got some pretty great news. It seems that a judge decided to drop the charges against Remy in her assault case that involved Brittney Taylor, her former Love and Hip Hop castmate.
The Shade Room revealed all the available details and wrote that Remy showed up at a New York City courthouse the other morning together with her legal team.
TSR cites the info from TMZ and reports that ‘prosecutors on the case explained that they could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she had committed a crime.’
Just in case you don’t know what’s this all about, Brittney Taylor hopped on social media back in April, and she posted a photo featuring herself sporting a black eye.
Back then, she claimed that Remy hit her at a concert.
‘Now prosecutors are saying that there is no surveillance video of the alleged punch and there are no witnesses who actually saw this alleged altercation between them happen,’ according to TSR.
People were never really supportive of Brittney, and now, after this piece of news came out, Remy’s supporters could not be happier, and they claim that all of this was just a lie.
Someone commented: ‘Still boggles my mind how Brittney acts so tough and called the police after getting punched once in the face 🤦🏽♀️the audacity.’
Another follower said: ‘Ayeeee starting 2020 off the right way I see,’ and one person posted this: ‘She thought she was really gonna get somewhere by lying.’
