Avengers Infinity War confirms DEATH of THIS Black Widow movie character before the Snap?

Earlier today the first trailer for the Black Widow movie landed. Set after Captain America Civil War, but before Avengers Infinity War, the prequel gives Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanova her very own solo outing before her upcoming death scene in Avengers Endgame. WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD.

And now it looks like a big Easter Egg in Avengers Infinity War teases a major Black Widow movie death.

In today’s trailer, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova is wearing the same jacket that Nat does in Avengers Infinity War.

Additionally, she’s dyed her hair blonde like her KGB assassin “sister”.

A fan tweeted: “Did you noticed that Nat sister was wearing the same jacket as Nat in Infinity War in the round table clip?”

Last month, the Avengers Endgame screenwriters revealed why Iron Man had to die and Captain America had to survive.

Speaking with Vanity Fair, McFeely said: “We realized over the course of the movies, that Cap and Tony were on crossing arcs.

“Cap, who had started as completely selfless and was jumping on grenades willy-nilly, was becoming more self-interested.

“Not to say selfish, but if you watch Civil War, particularly, he’s making decisions based on what he wants, even if it breaks up the Avengers.”

He added: “And Tony started as the brash billionaire playboy, and the stakes are growing for him, the responsibility’s growing for him.

“We realised at one point, late in 2015, that for Steve to be his best self, he was going to have to get a life and for Tony to be his best self, he might have to lose his.”

On why Tony Stark had to actually die and not just retire, the writers said that it would always mean the possibility of Iron Man 4. And as much as some fans would want that, sometimes it’s good to quit while you’re ahead.

Black Widow is released in UK cinemas on May 1, 2020.
