New MacBook Pro 13-inch may not offer one of the best features from the new 16-inch model

However, it seems the new machine will not shrink the bezels in favour of a larger display.

While many assumed the arrival of a 16-inch MacBook Pro (in almost the same size body as the original 15-inch model from previous years) was a harbinger for a new 14-inch notebook in the same physical footprint as the previous 13.3-inch model, that doesn’t seem what Apple is thinking at all.

It could be that Apple doesn’t have the time to bring the bigger display to market quite yet. With the new MacBook Pro out of the bag, there is a clear disparity between MacBook Pro models in the Apple Store right now that the iPhone manufacturer will likely want to fix.

After all, when you’ve been singing the praises of the new scissor switch-boasting “Magic Keyboard” in the new model, how can you really push people to cough-up for the old, worse keyboard on the 13-inch model? Especially not when that model can cost up to £1,999.
