PS4 surprise UPDATE: Download a FREE PlayStation game bonus today

Black Friday continues across the web, with Cyber Monday just around the corner for PlayStation gamers.

But PS4 fans can also grab a few free game bonuses this weekend too, which come at no extra charge.

These free downloads are added to the PlayStation Store frequently and usually serve the role of a demo.

And November has proven no different, with PS4 gamers able to choose between a range of new trials.

One of these new PS4 bonuses is the AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES demo, which was added to the online store earlier this month.

The new AI demo has already secured a top rating on the PlayStation Store following its short time of being available.

AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES DEMO FREE

“Explore reality and dreams alike with this neo-noir detective adventure! Play the Demo today,” the official game description teases. While the new demo is free to download, it does come with an 18+ age rating, which limits who can add it to their collection.

And for those wanting to know more about the story, the official Chunsoft description adds: “One rainy night in November, a woman’s body is found at an abandoned theme park, mounted on a merry-go-round horse.

“She had been stabbed repeatedly, and her left eye was gouged out. Kaname Date of the Metropolitan Police Department arrives on the scene. He recognizes the woman.

“Suddenly, a crash rings out through the rain… AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES chronicles an investigation through both dreams and reality. A thrilling neo-noir detective adventure following Date and his partner is about to unfold.”

The AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES demo can be downloaded for no extra charge and weighs in at just under 5GB. This should make it a comfortable fit for any PS4 console and isn’t expected to be removed during the remainder of 2019 or 2020.

More demos will be coming to the PlayStation Store over the coming weeks, although more are expected to drop in 2020. One game that fans are hoping to see a working demo for is the Final Fantasy 7 Remake project from Square Enix.

The publisher has allowed fans and media to play different builds of the game, offering a small slice of action. And there is still hope that this same experience could be released on the PlayStation Store before launch.

It would give RPG fans the perfect chance to check out the update combat systems before the first chapter launches in March 2020.

Hopes were recently renewed after Square Enix released a new Kingdom Hearts 3 demo on multiple platforms.

This similar to the one fans got to play at special events before the game was released and there always a slim chance that FF7 will follow the same pattern.

For those wanting to check out Kingdom Hearts 4 for free, the special demo can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store today. This one is a little larger, needing around 8GB of space on any PS4 console.

“The demo of the latest entry in the KINGDOM HEARTS series,” a message from Square reads.

“Team up with Disney heroes and unlock the power of the keyblade! Through the power of positivity and friendship, Sora, Donald and Goofy unite with iconic Disney-Pixar characters old and new to overcome tremendous challenges and persevere against the darkness threatening their worlds.

“The demo contains two stories: one from the game’s opening sequence to the introduction of Olympus, and one that covers the first half of the Toy Box adventure. The save data of the former can be transferred to the full version of the game.”

And gamers can expect more free content to arrive on the PS4 Store page in the coming weeks.
