Frances Beecher, of Welsh homeless charity Llamau, interrupted Carol and said that means she was indeed homeless.
“Actually Carol you’ve hit the nail on the head, that is homelessness. A lot of people feel that if you’re not living out on the streets you’re not homeless, but you are homeless if you don’t know where you are going to be spending the night, if you’re not safe”.
Carol added: “We lived out of the car really.”
She continued: “I’m not trying to make out that I was, but it was the closest I’ve ever been [to homelessness].
