Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for Martinez over recent weeks but Suarez tried not to add any more fuel to the speculation.
“It would depend on the circumstances and what the club needs at that time because maybe it already have a number nine and it doesn’t need it,” he said.
“Obviously, he is a scorer who is at a great level but the reality is that he belongs to Inter today.”
