Caitlyn Jenner, 70, has been winning over viewers during her time in the Australian jungle for the ITV show. The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant has now opened up about his fraught relationship with her step-daughter Khloe Kardashian,
The jungle star, who was a huge part of the hit E! series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which began in 2007, claimed it was her idea to do the reality television series.
Caitlyn was married to Kris Jenner and is the step-parent to the Kardashian kids – Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob and the former couple share daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
She also has three other sons Brandon, Burt, Brody and daughter Cassandra, from two other marriages.
Speaking with her campmates, the Olympian (previously known as Bruce Jenner) spoke about her transition and “coming out” to her children.
Roman Kemp asked: “When it came to you coming out, did you do certain people first?”
Caitlyn replied: “The first was the kids, I started with Brandon my son and he said to me ‘Dad, I’ve always been so proud to be your son but I’ve never been more proud of you than right now.’”
She continued: “I went through every kid and Khloe for some reason was p***ed off about something through this whole process, it’s been five or six years and I’ve really haven’t talked to her since.”
Ian Wright suggested: “Do you think she’s more thinking about herself rather than you?”
“I don’t know, we were really close, I raised her since she was five years old, I really don’t know what her issues are,” Caitlyn explained.
The Kardashian show has been one of the longest-running reality shows on television spanning over a decade.
After her split from Kris in 2013, Caitlyn began featuring less and less in the reality show.
She later went on to have two series of her own E! show I Am Cait, which followed her new life after her transition.
Speaking about Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Caitlyn said: “Kris and I were sitting in bed and The Osborne’s was on and it was really hot at one point and with Chris all you have to say is go and she’s off.
“They gave us six episodes and one camera and we started shooting and before we were done shooting they ordered 12 more episodes. Well over 500 episodes now.”
Elsewhere, Caitlyn’s pal Sophia Hutchins seemingly appeared taken aback by Piers Morgan’s line of questioning on Good Morning Britain yesterday.
The TV anchor immediately asked the status of the pair’s relationship as he prompted Sophia for an answer.
She replied: “I think I’ve described it pretty well. I think at the end of the day, Caitlyn and I are family.”
“No hanky panky then, just good friends?” the Good Morning Britain host queried further.
To which she replied: “Oh My God. I wouldn’t expect nothing less from Piers.”
Sophia later took to Instagram and slammed Piers for being a “jack*ss” for his bulls**t questions.
She fumed: “I went on to support Caitlyn on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! not to deal with stupid bulls**t questions from some jack*ss like Piers Morgan.
“Piers, neither of us will ever do your show again, you have shown your true colours yet again. How disappointing.”
