Tammy Abraham injury: Chelsea boss Lampard gives update as star leaves pitch in tears

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has revealed that Tammy Abraham’s injury isn’t as bad as first feared.

The striker picked up a knock during the Champions League tie against Valencia.

He was visibly in pain, and was eventually stretchered off after fighting through the tears.

Lampard has confirmed that Abraham sustained a bruised hip, and he’s hopeful that the striker will be available for action shortly.
