Michelle Obama heartache: Ex-FLOTUS sparks Twitterstorm with emotional Thanksgiving post

People across the globe are celebrating the annual tradition and many celebrities are sharing their snaps of how they spent the day. The ex-FLOTUS is among those taking to social media platforms to wish those celebrating well. On Twitter she wrote: “From our family to yours.

“Happy Thanksgiving!’

The tweet was accompanied by a new picture of Michelle, alongside her husband Barack and daughters Sasha, and Malia.

It has been retweeted thousands of times, with many more commenting and wishing the former US President and First Lady well.

One wrote: “In my mother’s words…they are ‘movie star beautiful’.”

She had a career as an attorney at a Chicago Law firm called Sidley & Austin, where she also met her husband Barack Obama.

She then worked at the Chicago mayor’s office, the University of Chicago and the University of Chicago Medical Centre.

It comes after a political commentator revealed that Michelle could still run to become US President.

Last week, the former First Lady issued a statement saying he was uninterested in running for President but political commentator Tucker Carlson has said this could all be a rouse.

He said on Fox News Live: “Don’t bet against Michelle Obama.

“Last week, the former first lady issued a statement saying that she has no interest in being president.

“That’s what she claimed.

“But there are signs that that’s not true.”
