The US President has announced that he is in good health after he claimed the media reported he had had a heart attack after visiting the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre. During a rally in Sunrise, Florida, he said reports of his having a “massive, unbelievable heart attack” were false.
He added that claims of his not wearing a tie proved he had had a heart attack were false, saying: “Why would I wear a tie if the first thing they say is ‘take off your shirt sir, and show us your gorgeous chest’.”
To this, the crowd burst into laughter.
He continued: “They said ‘we want to see it.
“We’ve never seen a chest quite like it’.”
Donald Trump health: US President gives huge update after ‘heart attack’ fears in rally
Trump threw hats into the crowd at the rally
The rally doubled as his “homecoming” event, where he assured the crowd he was in good health, and that his unannounced visit to the medical centre in mid November was no more than “a very routine physical”.
Though, the very nature of the medical admission, that is was unannounced, prompted questions about the President’s health ahead of the 2020 elections.
More formally, Trump later explained that he hadn’t wore a tie because he would’ve have been required to remove it to take-off his shirt.
Trump went on to say that his visit to Texas the day after his hospital appearance, as well as his animated presence at the Florida rally, proved that his health was more than fine.

Mr Voight is known to be a vocal supporter of Trump, having starred in films such as Midnight Cowboy.
He is the father of established actress Angelina Jolie, who has proven to be a staunch critic of Trump and his administration.
