Discord server status news begins with messaging issues that have hit the popular chat app today.
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has registered a spike in Discord down reports, with Discord server issues reported.
Down Detector stats show out of those affected some 90 per cent are having server issues with Discord today.
The Down Detector outage map says the Discord server issues are mainly affecting users in the UK, Europe and US.
As the problems hit Discord users took to social networking site Twitter to report Discord server issues.
One tweeted: “Is discord down again?“
Another posted: “Hey @discordapp, I’m dming my friend and our messages aren’t arriving unless i restart my discord app, anything going on”.
One added: “@discordapp I’m experiencing exceptionally high lag on both mobile and desktop and messages”.
And another wrote: “@discordapp discord is broken and messages wont send/can’t see what someone is saying”.
The official Discord app has been busy responding to users that have been hit with issues today.
Replying to one they said: “So sorry for the trouble! Our team is aware of this and believe the issue to be on the mend.
“Can you please give Discord one more restart and let me know if it’s still happening?”
