He continued: “The polls quite clearly reveal a majority remain. In the EU elections, the polls say things have changed.”
Morgan struggled to get to grips with the Conservative Party member’s views, adding: “Lord Heseltine, with your history in this party, ordering people to vote for Liberal Democrats… I find that extraordinary.”
Heseltine looked stern as he insisted: “Brexit is bad for this country.”
In a tense moment, Morgan tried to catch out the former Deputy Leader, insisting he once supported the United Kingdom taking on the Euro.
