Blizzard DOWN: Server status latest, BattleNet queues and login issues hit

Blizzard down reports are flooding in right now with users saying they’ve been hit with long queue times and BattleNet login issues.

Independent outage monitor Down Detector has regsitered a surge of Blizzard BattleNet down reports today.

Out of those affected some 69 per cent are experiencing login issues with 29 per cent are having Blizzard Battlenet server connection problems.

The Down Detector outage map says the Blizzard issues are mainly affecting users in the UK and Europe.

The official Blizzard Customer Support Twitter for Europe has confirmed that an issue has hit Blizzard services today.

They tweeted: “We’re currently addressing an issue with the Blizzard service and games may be unavailable.

“Thanks for your patience. #BlizzCS”.

As the issues hit Down Detector saw a spike in reports of Overwatch and World of Warcraft being down.

Blizzard fans also took to social networking site Twitter to report server issues they were experiencing today.

One posted: “@BlizzardCSEU_EN 15 mins in queue only to tell me that I couldn’t reach the server??”

Another wrote: “@BlizzardCSEU_EN whats up with the login servers for WoW atm? My entire Guild yoyoing around in infinite queue loops.”

One added: “@BlizzardCSEU_EN 20 min queue for this ISSSU”.

And another tweeted: “@BlizzardCSEU_EN havent been able to log in for 30 minutes”.
