Corrie actress Kym Marsh has opened up about her friendship with her soap costar Andy Whyment. Writing in her OK! Magazine column, Kym said that she thinks he will do well in the jungle.
She wrote: “I knew he was going into the jungle and I think he’ll do really well. He’ll be a bit of a character.”
However she added that his celebrity campmates shouldn’t be tricked by his kind demeanour, as he’s not afraid to stand up for himself.
She explained: “He doesn’t suffer fools and he’ll put people in their place if they do something wrong.”
She continued that he will expect everyone to work hard in the jungle, and won’t be best pleased if some don’t put in any effort.

He also forewarned that he may cry during the show, which he rarely does.
He explained: “Maybe you will see me cry when Im in there.”
And on last night’s episode he broke down in sobs following being sent photos of his family.
On Tuesday Nichola told The Mirror how heartbreaking it was to see him in tears.
