Red Dead Redemption 2 PC update: RDR2 Steam release date news coming this week?

The Red Dead Redemption 2 PC release hasn’t been running as smooth as many gamers had hoped for.

Problems arose with Graphics Drivers and in-game performance, which Rockstar Games continues to address.

But there is still one major platform without the game and fans are hoping that the Red Dead Redemption 2 Steam release date will be announced soon.

This week would make the perfect time to reveal plans for the game’s final PC launch.

RDR2 is already available on Google Stadia and until the new consoles for Sony and Microsoft arrive, this could be the final major launch.

WHEN IS THE RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 STEAM RELEASE DATE?

Rockstar Games has yet to announce their schedule for releasing Red Dead Redemption 2 on Steam.

What we do know is that the PC version of RDR2 will become playable on Steam during December 2019.

But no set date has been revealed yet by Valve or Rockstar Games.

The official Steam Store page has yet to materialise but things could start ramping up in the final week of November.

Last week saw Rockstar focus on the Google Stadia launch, so there’s a chance we could hear more about Red Dead 2 coming to Steam.

But this might depend on when exactly the game is going to be released on Valve massive platform.

It would make sense that Rockstar Games would want to launch Red Dead Redemption 2 on Steam before the holidays kick-off.

It’s a massive time for sales and would provide an incentive to complete the Red Dead 2 PC launch early in December.

And it will worth keeping an eye out for news next week, as this will mark a full month since the game launched via the Rockstar Games Launcher.

More news regarding Red Dead 2 is expected in the coming days, although it’s not guaranteed to contain an update on the Steam situation.

Rockstar launch weekly content for the game, including new Legendary bounties, here’s news on the last round of missions for Red Dead Online:

“Yukon” Nikoli Borodin is a Russian-born trapper and hunter with several outstanding warrants from his time spent in the territory of Alaska.

“He is currently being sought out for the known murders of several men, as well as the disappearance of a U.S. marshal sent to bring him in to justice.

“A few words of warning: rumour has it that Borodin keeps wild grizzlies captive and – much like his bears – is highly territorial, dangerous and short of temper.

“Yukon” Nik and his entourage were last seen in the area south of Strawberry, near Fort Riggs.

“In addition to a handsome monetary reward, players who turn in this week’s Legendary Bounty will also receive 3 Special Snake Oil and 10 Big Game Meat within 24 hours of completion.”
