The former FLOTUS and husband Barack joined their children Malia and Sasha to appear on the US programme. But speaking to Marie Claire, the ex First Lady expressed regrets over making the appearance. She was asked by the magazine: “Barack said that you and he regretted going on Access Hollywood with your daughters.
“Why did you do it?”
Michelle explained: “You know, it was a onetime thing; it was Malia’s birthday, and we were out on the road having a fun weekend together as a family.
“We don’t foresee it happening again in the near future.
“I think we’re all figuring this out. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to talk to people who’ve done this before.
“I’ve had great conversations with Hillary Clinton, Tipper Gore, and Caroline Kennedy, and they’ve all given me advice on how to make sure your kids are whole and grounded.
“I think a part of that is keeping them, keeping their worlds, very much their own.”
It comes as Michelle admitted she will be joining Barack in Malaysia next month, according to an adorable tweet he posted this week.
Barack mentioned the visit in his latest tweet where he also shared an article.

“Michelle and I couldn’t be more impressed by their initiative.
“Can’t wait to join them in Malaysia next month.”
Maria celebrated her 21st birthday on July 4.
Sister Sasha also partied for another massive milestone when she turned 18 in June.
Barack’s term in office concluded when current US President Donald Trump prevailed over his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton three years ago.
The four lived in the White House for eight years during Barack’s term in office.
But speaking as part of the upcoming edition of British Vogue, Michelle offered an insight into how Sasha and Malia are and where during that period.
