Melania Trump gave a warm reception to Conan, a heroic dog which was injured during an anti-terrorism raid. The First Lady and US President Donald Trump were at a press conference for the Belgian Malinois who has since healed. But as Melania was walking inside a reporter called out asking whether she would adopt the dog for Barron.
The reporter said: “Melania, do you want to adopt the dog for Barron?”
In a surprise turn, Melania turned around and said: “No.”
The Trump family do not have any pets despite other first families having them.
While Conan will continue to work as a military dog and will be returning to the Middle East to help US forces.

The moment comes as health fears grow for Donald Trump during his appearance at a medal ceremony.
The US President awarded the National Medal of Arts to Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight.
In video footage from the event, Trump appeared unsteady on his legs, sparking concerns for his health from commenters on Twitter.
One wrote: “Trump is NOT looking well!!
It comes after Trump’s physician gave an update on the President’s health after he was taken to hospital earlier this month.
Trump was reportedly “rushed” to hospital after being spotted with a full escort of Secret Service officials.
The unscheduled medical tests sparked fears and concerns among the public.
However, it was initially played down by his White House colleagues.
They insisted that Trump was having his annual checkup at the Walter Medical Centre.
