Homes Under The Hammer presenter Lucy Alexander speaks out on return ‘It feels good!’

Homes Under The Hammer presenter Lucy Alexander, 48, took to Twitter to give fans an insight into a property she has been involved in renovating. The property enthusiast shared a picture of the seaside home being renovated in view of her 27,000 followers.

She captioned the picture: “Love seeing all the renovations for my house in Whitstable!

“Every time I talk to my builder though I feel like I’m doing a Homes Under The Hammer piece to camera!!

“Miss talking and doing all things property – I’m back & it feels GOOD!! #beachouse #whitstable #seaside.”

Lucy then swiftly clarified that she meant she was back to working on properties and not on the show.

“I remember every single house lovely to go down memory lane. @BBCOne #nonstandardconstruction.”

A fan commented: “So much jollier when you were presenting it!”

Lucy responded to the tweet to thank the fan for his comment and spill what she didn’t miss about the show.

She replied: “Ha ha bless you! I do miss seeing so many unusual houses! Don’t miss the winter filming though!”

Earlier this year, Lucy spoke out on her reasons for leaving in an interview with Express.co.uk.

She said: “I have done it for a very long time and sometimes in life you need a little change, so I don’t regret anything at all.

“I still watch it and I’m still on it all the time. I remember all the people, they remind me of the houses.

“I love people so for me to interview them was the highlight of my job and I miss it hugely.

“It was such a big part of my life, my children grew up with their mum on Homes Under The Hammer.”

Homes Under The Hammer continues today at 10am on BBC One.
