Call of Duty Modern Warfare patch notes for PS4 and Xbox One COD update

Activision has launched a new patch for Call of Duty Modern Warfare today, November 25.

A bigger update is expected to arrive in the coming weeks, which will add the game’s first major event.

But today’s COD update is much smaller, providing a list of bug fixes to the game.

Infinity Ward Community Managers have also confirmed that a few playlist changes have been added as well.

This includes being able to party up and play the new Gun Game mode together.

Other changes include a Menu refresh, with Infinity Ward moving FFA into the QuickPlay Filter.

Full patch notes for today’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare update have been released and can be found below.

  • Allowing up to 4-player parties in Gun Game

The new Modern Warfare update follows news that Activision has launched console controller support for Call of Duty Mobile.

The latest COD launch is only available to play on Android and iOS devices, as well as via an Android emulator on PC.

And the good news for PS4 and Xbox One gamers is that controller support is fully enabled for those console controllers.

It should be noted that first-gen controllers may not work as they do not have the required Bluetooth support.

Here’s a quick five-step guide on setting up a controller for Call of Duty: Mobile:

  • Enable pairing on your controller. This is done by holding the Share and PS button at the same time on a PS4 controller, or the Xbox and sync button on an Xbox One controller.
  • Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (usually done through settings).
  • Within Bluetooth settings, locate “wireless controller” and connect to that device.
  • Open Call of Duty: Mobile and enable “Allow to use controller” in the Controller settings menu. (Note: You may see the below screenshot while your controller is connecting, or if your controller isn’t paired yet.)
  • Set and modify your controls for each game type.
