Goo Hara dead: K-pop singer found dead at home aged 28

K-pop singer Goo Hara was reportedly found dead at her home in South Korea in the early hours of Sunday morning. The star’s cause of death is currently unknown.

The police are currently investigating the singer’s death, according to music website AllKPop.

Back in May, the singer was reportedly found unconscious by her manager at her home in Seoul’s Gangnam district.

The day before, she concerned fans with a one-word message on her Instagram account which read, “Goodbye.”

She later issued an apology telling fans she was sorry for causing concern.

The singer wrote: “I am sorry for causing concerns and a commotion.

“In terms of health, I am recovering … I had been in agony over a number of overlapping issues.

“But from now on, I will steel my heart and try to show up healthy.”

Her post came after she had just completed a tour of Japan with solo material, including Midnight Queen.

Goo Hara is believed to have been friends with K-pop singer Sulli, who also died last month.

Sulli was a member of the girl band f(x) alongside Victoria, Amber, Luna and Krystal, who were formed in September 2009.

The five-piece shot to fame with their single La Cha Ta before they went on to release Electric Shock and Hot Summer.

Sulli suspended her K-pop career in 2014 to focus on her acting.
