Vikings fans may have thought they had seen the end of Freydis (played by Alicia Agneson) after she was strangled to death by Ivar the Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen). However, the new trailer has seen the character return after a huge character transformation.
Freydis had a tragic storyline in the last season of Vikings.
After being freed from slavery by Ivar, he quickly fell in love with her, eventually asking her to be his wife.
However, after Ivar brutally killed her baby, things turned sour and she betrayed him.
During the Siege of Kattegat, she played a role in helping Bjorn Ironside (Alexander Ludwig) overthrow him, and when he found out he strangled her for treason.
