Elsewhere in the Dales, Lydia Hart (Karen Blick) has finally decided to take the Huntington’s test after finding out from her estranged mum, Agatha Finn (Judith Barker) that her dad had died from the hidden disease.
With her ever-supportive husband Sam Dingle (James Hooton) by her side, will Lydia get good news when she takes the test?
Or will her world come crashing down just before Christmas?
Fans have their fingers crossed for the Dingle favourite, but no one can be sure.
