NASA shock: Veteran astronaut reveals what North Korea really looks like from space

“You see that compared to Seoul, which is just to the south and, you know, it’s just like night and day. It’s sad to see.

“During the daytime when you look at North Korea, surprisingly, the air doesn’t look very clean but it’s pretty obvious it’s not from North Korean industry, it’s the pollution that just gets blown over from China.

“So, you know, not only do they not have electricity but they also have crappy air because of the pollution that China generates.

“It’s really a bad situation all way around and like I said, very shocking to see with your own eyes.”

In a bid to preserve energy, the North Korean regime turns off lights up and down the country for the night.
