I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2019 contestant Kate Garraway, 52, seems to be enjoying the show so far and will compete in her first Bushtucker Trial alongside Caitlyn Jenner, 70, this evening. But, according to her co-star Piers Morgan, 54, she was in “two minds” about signing up for the show and called him for his advice beforehand.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain, he told viewers: “Kate rang me three weeks ago when she first got approached and I said she should absolutely do it.
“People will love her, she will be hardworking.”
Piers’ co-star Susanna Reid then joked that Kate only approached him as a “courtesy call”.
He replied: “She was genuinely in two minds because if you get bounced out straight away it can be quite humiliating.”

“‘You should eat that slug from the garden, or jump off of that wall, to practise,’ it’s been a war of attrition.”
The mother-of-two, who is married to Derek Draper, went on to say she has heard former contestants say the show is “life-changing” and has “never met anyone who said they regretted doing it”.
Elsewhere, Ant and Dec revealed Kate will be taking on the trial Bugged Out tonight.
The Good Morning Britain star and Kylie Jenner’s dad will be strapped in perspex cages 20 metres in the air.
