Nicole Scherzinger: X Factor Celebrity judge 'dating' contestant Thom Evans

Nicole Scherzinger, 41, who was in a long-term relationship with Lewis Hamilton, is believed to have enjoyed a romantic evening with Thom Evans, 34, earlier in the week. The former rugby player is currently on The X Factor: Celebrity in group, Try Star, with Ben Foden and Levi Davis.

The pair reportedly had “great chemistry from the off” and had been texting for a while before Thom asked out the former Pussycat Dolls band member.

A source told The Sun: “Thom is completely Nicole’s type. And for his part, Thom was smitten early on — he’s always said Nicole is one of the most beautiful women in the world.

“He fancied her long before meeting her on the show. He was initially a bit nervous about starting something up, and ruining his chances on the series, but they had great chemistry from the off.

“And after weeks of texting, Thom finally plucked up the courage to ask her out, and took her for dinner.”

The singer moved on from Lewis with tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, 25, and the two had been dating on-and-off since late 2015.

In August, Nicole declared she was single when she was seen flirting with a male contestant during Australia’s Got Talent – where she is a judge.

Meanwhile, Thom previously dated model Kelly Brook for two years before they ended their relationship in 2013.

He went on to have a romance with actress Jessica Lowndes, who appeared in 90210, for seven months, and recently admitted he is single.

Elsewhere, X Factor said goodbye to another act on the ITV show last night.

Glee star, Kevin McHale, was the latest contestant to be voted off the series after landing in the bottom two.

In a huge twist, Vinnie Jones said he wanted to step down from the competition in a bid to save the American actor.

However, head judge Simon Cowell overruled him and insisted that he should stay in the show.
