PS4 free game download WITHOUT PlayStation Plus

Sony has teamed up with Square Enix for a new free game trial on PS4. And better yet, it doesn’t require a PS Plus subscription.

Fans of Disney and Square Enix games can download a demo version of Kingdom Hearts 3 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

One of this year’s biggest and best games, Kingdom Hearts 3 launched to critical acclaim all the way back in January.

The demo shines the spotlight on two different parts of the game, beginning with the opening section in Olympus. After conquering Olympus, players can sample the first half of the Toy Box adventure.

“Team up with Disney heroes and unlock the power of the keyblade!” reads the PlayStation Store description.

“Through the power of positivity and friendship, Sora, Donald and Goofy unite with iconic Disney-Pixar characters old and new to overcome tremendous challenges and persevere against the darkness threatening their worlds.

“The demo contains two stories: one from the game’s opening sequence to the introduction of Olympus, and one that covers the first half of the Toy Box adventure. The save data of the former can be transferred to the full version of the game.”

If you enjoy the demo and want to pick up the full game, you can download it for less as part of Sony’s latest Deal of the Week.

The standard version of the game is available for just £18.14, which represents a saving of 67%.

Alternatively, fans can pick up the complete Kingdom Hearts collection for just £29.87.

The Kingdom Hearts All-in-One Package contains Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and Kingdom Hearts 3.

This includes everything from Birth by Sleep Final MIX and Re:Chain of Memories, to 358/2 Days and Dream Drop Distance HD.

The bundle also contains the Back Cover movie, which ties into the series’ mobile spinoff.

“A new HD movie that tells the mysterious story of the Foretellers, connecting the earliest parts of the series’ history, showcased in the mobile title KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained χ,” Square Enix explains.

The Kingdom Hearts games feature appearances from famous Square Enix characters, as well as Disney icons such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

That’s on top of Disney franchises such as Toy Story, Tarzan and Wreck It Ralph.
