Ivanka Trump was holding her son while standing behind the US President as he filled out paperwork on his inauguration in the White House. But Barron Trump is seen playing peek-a-boo with Ivanka’s son, Theodore. In the clip, he then tried to get the baby to hi five him while standing next to his mother, Melania Trump.
Social media users hit out at the then 10-year-old.
One Twitter user wrote: “This still makes me cringe. It’s demeaning and embarrassing to me and I had nothing to do with it.”
Another added: “This isn’t cute. He’s old enough to know better.”
A third person said: “His mother looks mortified.”

But most people said the moment was “cute” and they “loved” it.
Barron Trump, now 14, reportedly spoke three languages as a child, according to Melania.
As a child, Barron appeared to speak with a “Slovenian accent” in a video at four years old.
Melania told CNN’s Larry King who commented on his accent: “He does have one. He spends most of the time with me.
“Ines Knavs was the one who took care of all the paperwork at the Slovenia consulate in New York so that Barron could formally acquire Slovenian citizenship.”
Barron is the US President’s youngest son and lives with them in the White House.
The public have noticed in recent months he has had quite the growth spurt as he now appears to tower over his father.
As the family walked together, his height was noticeable as he appeared taller than Donald at 6-foot-2. While Melania is 5-foot-11 without heels.
