Three Mobile DOWN – Data not working as customers face another outage

Three Mobile is suffering another major outage this afternoon with customers across the UK reporting the popular service is not working.

Thousands of Three users appear to be having problems with accessing data on the popular network.

Independent website Down Detector, which measures social mentions around a certain topic to track outages across the globe, registered a peak of over 900 Three customers experiencing problems.

Although not confirmed, there seem to no signal across large parts of this UK including areas such as Manchester, London, Glasgow, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham, Bradford, Edinburgh, and Sheffield

Users have taken to forums and social media to complain of the outage which is leaving their smartphone unable to make calls or get online.

One Three Mobile customers said: “Bradford on Avon mobile broadband is down for the last 10 minutes. Phone data still works though.”

Whist another added, absolutely no data in the centre of Bradford since 13.50 pm it happens a lot I wanna leave three for a decent network.”

Along with those comments, Three customers have also taken to social media to moan about the outage which is leaving many offline.

Posting on Twitter, one Three user said: “Why is three down again?! what am I paying 60 quid a month for pls…..”

And another added:  “So @ThreeUK is down again. Honestly the worst network on the planet, there are slums in the middle of Bangladesh that receive better coverage from providers than three. I’m leaving today.”

There’s no current word on what is causing the issues or when it will be fixed.

This latest outage comes after the Three customers were left with a signal for a number of hours bacon October.

During the outage, A Three spokesperson confirmed: “Following technical difficulties with our services across voice, text and data, some customers will be experiencing an intermittent service.

“Our engineers are working to fix the issue and the service is returning to normal, and we expect it to be resolved over the course of the day.

“We advise our customers to turn their phones off and on or turn airplane mode on and off, which may resolve the issue.

“We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to our customers.”
