Lucy Fallon, 24, tried out and new look on Instagram on Thursday evening.
The actress, who is best known for playing the role of Bethany Platt in ITV soap Coronation Street, took to social media to share a snap with pink hair.
The normally-blonde television star seemed to be impressed with the results after experimenting with a new hair colour.
Come January, she will be more free to experiment with her appearance, when she leaves the soap after five years on the show.
Lucy, who celebrated her 24th birthday earlier this week, shared a picture of herself sporting the new pink hue on her Instagram Stories last night.
In the image, the TV star can be seen snapping a selfie in the mirror of her dressing table with pink tips at the end of her hair.
She told her 463,000 followers she liked the temporary new look and wished she could make it more permanent.
Lucy wrote: “I used some wash out hair chalks in my hair and mow I want pink hair. Help me.”
At the weekend, the ITV actress tried out another new look when she threw a popstar themed bash to celebrate her birthday.
Lucy donned a racy red bustier with black fringed skirt and red satin knee-high boots to transform herself into singer Christina Aguilera.
A huge crimped blonde wig, dramatic make-up and sparkly jewels completed her look.
Sharing a picture of herself in her complete costume online, she wrote: “23 was fun… 24, I hope ur wild. Here’s to being even more extra!!!!! Thank you soooo much for the bday lurvvvvv!!!!!!”
