Jane Fonda, 81, rocks sparkly suit again as she refuses to shop in aid of Greta Thunberg

Jane Fonda, 81, joined singer Sheryl Crow, 57, at the GCAAP Empower Party which was held in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States yesterday. The Monster in Law actress sported the same sparkling suit for a second time after she recently vowed to never shop again to benefit climate change.

The Hollywood star has sworn off shopping after she admitted she had been inspired by environmental activist Greta Thunberg, 16.

Jane looked stylish in a fitted suit jacket which showcased her fabulous frame and featured thick lapels and a host of horizontal buttons.

She paired her tailored jacket with a black blouse and wore matching slacks while she strutted down the red carpet.

The Barbarella star wore her blonde tresses in loose waves and added light makeup to accentuate her features.

Jane was spotted wearing the same suit at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held in New York City on November 11, keeping to her word that she was cutting out consumerism.

The actress has been arrested as many as four times in the last month as part of her climate change protest in Washington D.C.

It comes as the Grace and Frankie actress announced at a climate change rally in Washington she will try to stop purchasing clothes in the near future, for environmental reasons.

She spoke about her decision last week in front of a gathered crowd, saying: “So, you see this coat?

Last month, Jane was one of 16 people arrested for demonstrating unlawfully on the steps of the US Capitol about climate change.

In a statement, US Capitol police communications director Eva Malecki said: “Today, the United States Capitol Police arrested 16 individuals for unlawfully demonstrating on the East Front of the U.S. Capitol.

“All were charged with D.C. Code §22-1307, Crowding, Obstructing or Incommoding.”

In a video on social media, Fonda could be seen standing with a group of fellow protestors holding placards.
