Lucky US Star Wars fans were able to access Disney Plus yesterday, which featured the first episode of The Mandalorian. Set after Return of the Jedi, the show follows a bounty hunter, but now fans reckon they may have spotted a presumed dead character from the movies.
According to Screen Rant, halfway through the first episode, there’s a scene that may feature Boba Fett.
The moment sees Pascal’s bounty hunter among beings in different suits of armour, with one in the background seeming to fit Boba’s look.
If it really is him, this is particularly exciting for Star Wars fans considering he was presumed dead in Return of the Jedi.
Boba was last seen being knocked into the Pit of Carkoon where he would have been eaten by the Sarlacc.

Hopefully, future episodes of The Mandalorian will divulge if that really was Boba or not.
Meanwhile, the first episode of the new show saw the introduction of a baby from Yoda’s species.
Fans will know that in Star Wars canon there’s only been Yaddle, from the prequels, who has featured other than Yoda.
And since both are dead at this point in the Star Wars timeline after Return of the Jedi, presumably this baby is the last of its kind.
It turns out Yoda was going to be called Buffy.
No doubt a certain 1990s vampire slayer would have had a very different name if Lucas had stuck with it.
According to Weasac.com The Making of The Empire Strikes Back book says Buffy was changed to Minch Yoda in the film’s first draft.
However, it was eventually shortened to the four-letter household name he’s known as today.
Back in 2016, Star Wars Identities: The Exhibition came to London’s O2 and it featured the original concept art for Yoda.
It turns out he was originally imagined as a humanoid elf, complete with red gnome hat and bushy white beard.
The original concept painting is by artist Ralph McQuarrie, but unfortunately for him, we ended up with the Muppet-inspired goblin-like Jedi we know and love today.
The Mandalorian is streaming on Disney Plus in the US now and will in the UK from March 31, 2020.
