Outlander has a number of plot threads to work with in season five. And as the new episodes are just a few months away, fans of the show have been hard at work in diving through the older episodes to work out if they have missed anything.
Most recently, fans have been looking at the relationships between Claire Fraser (played by Caitriona Balfe), Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies), and Brianna Fraser (Sophie Skelton).
Viewers will know that, although Frank brought up Brianna for a time, she was not his daughter.
Frank himself knew this as well, however it has never truly been revealed how he found out the truth.
Because of this, viewers of the show have begun theorising a number of different ways they think he may have found out the truth about Brianna.

Unfortunately, now Frank has been killed off viewers will never truly know.
Meanwhile, Jamie Fraser star Sam Heughan recently teased the end of the show itself.
Speaking about the upcoming season, he hinted: “We will see how long Outlander runs for.
“We’re on season five just now and will definitely be doing a sixth.”
