Inside Barcelona dressing room as Lionel Messi greeted by Barca team-mates after Celta win

Barcelona legend Lionel Messi was followed through the Nou Camp and into the dressing room after his heroics against Celta Vigo on Saturday.

The club captain scored a hat-trick to help Barcelona maintain their place at the top of the La Liga table.

Football video publisher OTRO filmed Messi being greeted by his team-mates as he entered the dressing room after the match.

The video shows Messi strolling through the Nou Camp, from the tunnel to the dressing room, with a Celta shirt placed over his shoulders.

The Argentinian magician is initially welcomed by midfielder Sergio Busquets, before Messi continues through toward the changing rooms.

He high-fives left-back Jordi Alba and injured defender Samuel Umtiti upon his arrival.

Messi makes his way around the dressing room with his captain responsibilities, congratulating his team-mates on his way.

He’s seen congratulating Sergi Roberto, Carlos Alena, Antoine Griezmann and Jean-Clair Todibo, among others, as the team celebrates their latest league victory.

Barcelona temporarily dropped down to second place before their match, after Real Madrid beat Eibar 4-0 in an earlier kick-off.

Messi opened the scoring mid-way through the first-half from the penalty spot, after Junior Firpo’s cross was handled by Joseph Aidoo.

The Catalans were pushed back just three minutes before half-time, after a superb free-kick by Celta’s Lucas Olaza.

But, Messi replicated Olaza’s free-kick by scoring his own set piece just seconds before the half-time whistle.

After the break, Barcelona doubled their lead with another Messi free-kick to complete a set-piece hat-trick.

Griezmann probably should have made it 4-1 soon after, but Busquets was on hand to extend the lead with his head, with five minutes left to play.

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are on 25 points after 12 matches, with Ernesto Valverde’s side having a slightly better goal difference.

Celta, meanwhile, remain in the bottom three, having lost their last five league matches.
