13-Year-Old Broadway Star Laurel Griggs Cause Of Death Revealed

According to a report from Just Jared, the cause of Laurel Griggs’ death was officially revealed. On the 5th of November, Laurel, the Broadway star, reportedly suffered a massive asthma attack, which subsequently led to her death.

According to The Post on the 10th of November, her family reached out to them and confirmed the cause of death. The young starlet was taken to the hospital at Mount Sinai Hospital where doctors were unable to revive the young girl. Her grandfather, David B. Rivlin, was the one to tell the publication.

Mr. Rivlin added in the post that his granddaughter was a girl with dreams of a very big future, and her career was just beginning. On the 7th of November, in New York City, her funeral was held at the Park West Riverdale in NYC.

Just Jared reports that Laurel first got on Broadway at the age of 6-years, in the classic play, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, in 2013, beside Scarlett Johansson. This wouldn’t be the first time this year when a rising star passed away early.

Cameron Boyce, who was perhaps most famous for his role in the Disney Channel franchise, Jessie, as well as Descendants, died back in July. The young man was 20-years-old. His family subsequently released a statement confirming the news of his passing.

Their statement read that Cameron died from an epileptic seizure. At the time, ABC News reported that Boyce died from a seizure, although, initially, it was never confirmed. In the past, Boyce almost never spoke about suffering from an illness, and people who worked with him stated that he rarely complained.

TMZ reported the law enforcement sources described the actor’s passing as a “natural death.” Heavy.com pointed out the irony in the idea of calling his death “natural,” however, officials use this terminology to describe the anatomical conditions which lead to a person’s death.

After Cameron passed, several big names in Hollywood shouted out to him including former co-star, Adam Sandler, as well as the CEO of Disney, Bob Iger.
