Arsenal travel to Leicester City on Saturday looking to get their Premier League campaign back on track (5.30pm).
Unai Emery’s outfit are fifth in the table heading into the weekend, six points adrift of Chelsea in fourth and Leicester in third.
They face a Foxes team who have won seven out of their last nine league matches, with Brendan Rodgers’ side favourite to win again at the King Power.
And ahead of the match, Express Sport has picked the seven Leicester players who would make an immediate improvement to the Arsenal starting XI.
Ricardo Pereira
Pereira has established himself as one of the best right-backs in the Premier League since his arrival from Porto in the summer of 2018.
Hector Bellerin is not yet up to speed following his long-term knee injury and Pereira would be an upgrade on the Spaniard at the moment.
Jonny Evans
Arsenal should have signed Evans when he was available for as little as £3million in 2018 following West Brom’s relegation.
They were linked with the Northern Irishman but instead bought Sokratis Papastathopoulos for £17.6m.
Caglar Soyuncu
Soyuncu was also linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer of 2018 but he also ended up joining Leicester instead.
The Turk struggled in his first campaign at the King Power but he has proved to be a more than capable replacement for Harry Maguire this term.
Ben Chilwell
Kieran Tierney is yet to hit top form in the Premier League since his arrival.
The Scot has the potential to become a top player for the Gunners but Chilwell is playing better at the moment.
Wilfred Ndidi
Emery refuses to play Lucas Torreira in defensive midfield – a position Arsenal fans think he is at his best.
Ndidi is a vital cog in the Leicester side and was even compared to Gunners great Patrick Vieira by Martin Keown last Sunday.
James Maddison
Maddison would improve a lot of teams in the Premier League and Arsenal are one of them.
At 22 he has the potential to become an England regular for a number of years.
Jamie Vardy
Vardy is looking every bit as good as he was when Leicester won the Premier League back in 2016.
