Jeremy Clarkson: 'Not getting any sympathy' Grand Tour host hits out at Daniel Craig

Jeremy Clarkson, 59, is less than impressed with James Bond star Daniel Craig after hearing he has reportedly grown tired of saying: “The name’s Bond. James Bond.” The former Top Gear host spoke out about the actor’s complaint in his column for The Sun and said he hasn’t got “any sympathy” for him.

Jeremy wrote: “Apparently Daniel Craig was fed up with saying: ‘The name’s Bond. James Bond.’

“Well, I’m sorry, my precious, but you’re not getting any sympathy here. If you’ve worked in a poultry farm for 40 years, you can say you’re fed up with chickens.”

He continued: “And if you’ve worked on the railways all your adult life, you can say you are looking forward to a retirement without trains.

“But you, Mr Craig, only said that line FIVE times. Which is hardly taxing, is it?”

The car enthusiast joked about the latter’s captain Siya Kolisi before saying the opposition had “killed us”.

He shared a rude image with his 2.5 millions fans on Instagram which saw a springbok – a nickname for the SA national rugby team – over the back of an English Bulldog.

Jeremy tweeted earlier in view of his 7.2 million followers: “Go England. But amazed that Khaleesi is playing rugby for South Africa.”

He appeared to be comparing flanker Siya, 28, who led his side to victory and Game Of Thrones character Daenerys Targaryen, also known as Khaleesi, played by Emilia Clarke.
