Melania Trump red-faced: FLOTUS caught in embarrassing moment as Donald embraces another

The First Lady clapped as the US President awkwardly hugged Washington Nationals player Kurt Suzuki at the White House. Donald Trump gave baseball player Kurt Suzuki an “awkward hug” which has been compared to a famous scene from Titanic. Mr Suzuki attended their home to celebrate the teams first-ever World Series title, and when he was invited to speak, Suzuki whipped on a Make America Great Again cap.

As he put on the hat, the US President appeared shocked, before he was overheard saying: “I love him.”

Mr Trump then gave the baseball star a bizarre hug from behind, as Suzuki stretched out his arms in the air.

Twitter users were quick to notice the snub from the President to his 49-year-old wife.

One said: “Did anyone see Melania’s face??!!??”

Another added: “Melania standing aside like a f****** ghost!”

A third person said: “Look at Melania’s smile DROP when Suzuki puts that hat on. Then she catches herself.”

It came after the US President was booed by Washington Nationals fans at last month’s World Series.

Some attendees booed and chanted “lock him up!” when Trump was shown on screen at the Washington Nationals Park stadium.

One Twitter user wrote: “Literally, Melania Trump looks so unhappy until they start booing him, look at that smile, betcha it was like the highlight of her night.”

Another added: “I’ve never seen Melania smile so much.”

A third person said: “FLOTUS’ eyes and smile tell you everything you need to know.”

But others have argued her smile dropped as soon as she realised what the crowd was saying.

One said: “This is the money shot. Watch Trump and Melania’s face when the crowd starts to boo.”
