Who stars in Shameless season 10?

William H Macy returns as the Gallagher family matriarch, Frank.

Emma Kenney reprises her role as Debbie, who will fill in for Fiona Gallagher’s absence.

Season 10 will begin with Debbie stepping up to become the matriarch of the Gallagher family after Fiona left her $50,000 to look after the family.

Taking centre stage in the tenth series is Kate Miner as Tami Damenti.

The character Tami first appeared at the beginning of Shameless season nine and was revealed to be pregnant with Lip’s (Jeremy Allen White) child in the season nine finale.

Returning for season 10 is Cameron Monaghan and Noe Fisher as Ian Gallagher and Mickey Malkovich respectively.

Monaghan announced he was leaving the comedy-drama during season nine but reversed his decision after the finale episode.

Fisher was last seen properly in season seven of Shameless when his character Mickey headed to Mexico after breaking out of jail.

But in season nine, Ian and Noel were reunited as cellmates in prison.

Their reunion in prison was supposed to be the end of their story but after Monaghan returned to the show, their story was brought back to life.

Now, for season 10, Fisher has been promoted to series regular.

Also returning to Shameless season 10 is Kevin Ball as Steve Howey, Shanola Hampton as V, Ethan Cutkosky as Carl and Christian Isaiah as Liam, Jess Gabor as Kelly and Scott Michael Campbell as Brad.

Unfortunately, Emmy Rossum will not appear in Shameless season 10 as the much-loved character Fiona Gallagher.

Rossum announced last year she would be leaving the show for good after eight years in the cast.

Fiona was last seen leaving Chicago and travelling to an unknown destination.

Hopefully, viewers will learn of Fiona’s whereabouts in season 10.
