EastEnders spoilers: Keanu Taylor dramatically killed as Danny Walter confirms exit?

EastEnders resident Keanu Taylor (played by Danny Walter) is currently embroiled in one of the biggest storylines. But the outcome of his baby triangle will climax next year after the actor has announced he is leaving the BBC One soap.

Danny has played Keanu for two and a half years and he confirmed to Digital Spy earlier today how he was departing to pursue other projects.

But what does this mean for his character?

Since his arrival in Walford, Keanu quickly found himself at the heart of the Mitchell drama.

Working for Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), Keanu became the son Phil was missing.

And he quickly struck up a romance with his daughter Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) with the biggest storyline twist being the pair announcing they were expecting a baby together.

Head over heels, Keanu proposed to Louise leaving Phil utterly elated.

In Phil’s eyes, Keanu does nothing wrong but nobody knows about Keanu and Sharon Mitchell’s (Letitia Dean) darkest secret – he’s also the father of her baby.

As for how Danny’s exit is going to play out on screen, soap bosses are keeping tightlipped about the details.

“I have been blessed to work with the most fantastic creative team and I will miss them and my fellow actors immensely.

“EastEnders will always hold a special place in my heart and I will continue to be an avid fan.”

Jon Sen, Executive Producer EastEnders said: “Keanu’s story is set to come to a dramatic and blistering conclusion in the near future as one of best kept secrets on the Square is finally revealed with devastating consequences.

“We’d all like to thank Danny for his nuanced performance as Keanu Taylor over the last two and half years.

“What Danny has brought to his character has been one of the reasons the ‘Sheanu’ affair has been such compulsive viewing for fans
