Positing on Instagram, Donald Trump Jr and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle dressed up as a witch hunt in a nod to the President’s impeachment inquiry. Donald Jr wore military style camouflage hunting gear and carried a bow, as a hunter, while Ms Guilfoyle dressed as a witch. The location of the photo was labeled as “The Swamp”, the derogatory term the president used to describe Washington DC.
In the captions, Donald Jr wrote: “Witch Hunt!!! Happy Halloween folks.
“With all the bulls**t the Democrats are throwing out there, we just couldn’t resist.”
Donald Jr and Ms Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host, began dating last year.
“Witch hunt” is the term frequently used by Trump to describe both the Mueller probe as well as the current impeachment inquiry conducted by Democrats in the House of Representatives.
Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel to investigate alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 elections.
After a two-year probe, Mueller issued a report in which he wrote that there was insufficient evidence to conclude that Trump or anyone in his campaign conspired with Russia to defeat Hillary Clinton in 2016.
Trump has also denounced the impeachment inquiry that has gained momentum in the House as a “witch hunt”.
Earlier this week, a deeply divided House of Representatives took a major step in the effort to impeach the President when lawmakers approved rules for the next, more public, stage in the inquiry into Trump’s alleged attempt to have Ukraine investigate a domestic political rival.

Another person posted of social media: “No class. making fun of a terrible time in history, which they are a part.”
Many claimed the two needed to put more effort into their costumes.
One Twitter user posted: “Despicable trophy hunter and witch, so no different than their normal daily personas.”
Another social media user asked: “How is this a costume? This is literally what and who is they are.”
Some pointed out the irony of the pair dressing up as a “witch hunt”, claiming they did’t really understand the phrase.
Ronald Klain posted on Twitter: “Honest to goodness this guy does not understand what the phrase “witch hunt” means.”
David Mack posted on social media: “The whole point of the “witch hunt” cry is that it argues there aren’t actually any witches.”
Some took the opportunity to take aim at Donald Jr in general.
Kimberley Johnson wrote on twitter: “Don Jr is the high school wannabe dudebro who dates the mean cheerleader because his dad has money.
“But Junior is sad inside because his father really only values Ivanka and women Ivanka’s age who look like Ivanka.”
