Travellers looking to get the most for their money on a winter break are in luck, thanks to research by Ocean Finance revealing the cheapest European hotspots to head to over the period.
The research took into account the cost of flight return tickets, two nights in a hotel, three meals per day, public transport and entry into the city’s top attractions.
Out of the ten cities, Lisbon took the crown, costing two travellers just £371 in total for two days in the Portuguese city.
In fact, the average cost of two return tickets was just £98.
