Miranda Lambert is gushing over her hunky husband, Brendan McLoughlin.
The couple is nearing the one-year anniversary of the day they first met. Lambert wants the world to know her hubby makes her feel like no other man has before. Yes, that is a dig at Blake Shelton, but it is also how the country crooner truly feels.
In an upcoming interview with Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist, Lambert did not hold back dishing on her marriage to McLoughlin. She opened up about shocking fans when she revealed she was married to a man fans did not know Lambert was dating.
“When you truly find someone that loves you for who you are and that you genuinely are smiling, it’s a smile from the inside. It’s a light that kinda clicks on that you really didn’t know was off,” the 35-year-old blonde beauty expressed.
Lambert and her former NYPD husband are loving life. She is not shy about sharing photos of McLoughlin, especially without a shirt on. His good looks are not the only reason Lambert is head over heels for the 28-year-old.
“My husband is pretty laid back and friendly and sweet and just like very go-with-the-flow kind of guy, which is great for this life, ’cause you kinda have to go with the flow and I’m glad to share it with him and that he’s open to it,” Lambert said.
The country beauty has endured her fair share of heartache in the love department. However, she admits the pain did help her create some beautiful music that is featured on her seventh studio album, Wildcard. There are some inspiring love songs on the album too, thanks to McLoughlin.
“It definitely feels good to be singing a few love songs. Let’s not get crazy. I don’t want to get too happy where I can’t write a sad song,” she said beaming with happiness.
Almost one year after meeting, Miranda Lambert is loving life with her husband Brendan McLoughlin. They are proving the haters wrong by living their best life together in Nashville.
McLoughlin has joined Lambert’s security team to be with his beautiful wife, following his absence from NYPD. The job change means at this time he is not planning on returning to the force.
