Michael, 50, has not been seen in public since he suffered serious head injuries during an incident in the French Alps on December 29, 2013.

Last month the German racing superstar, was reportedly taken to Pompidou hospital in southwest Paris to undergo stem-cell treatment, according to French newspaper Le Parisien.

A nurse at the French hospital reportedly confirmed Schumacher was showing signs of recovery.

The nurse told Le Parisien: “Yes he is in my service. And I can assure you that he is conscious.”

Following the skiing accident almost six years ago, Michael was placed in a medically-induced coma for six months.
