Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Maria Connor (played by Samia Ghadie) could find herself at the centre of a rift between ex-boyfriend Ali Neeson (James Burrows) and new love interest, Gary Windass (Mikey North). The two men have killed before so what lengths will they go to win her over?
Viewers have watched Gary become the latest villain on the cobbles, with a chilling two deaths under his belt.
It was revealed he was behind the factory roof collapse, causing the death of Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia) earlier this year.
The builder also murdered loan shark, Rick Neelan (Greg Wood) who was out to kill him.
Since then, Gary’s turned into quite the menace, taking over Rick’s business, threatening residents and horrifying viewers.

But in scenes airing next week he sets his sights on love rival, Ali – who, if viewers remember, isn’t such a saint himself.
In scenes that aired last year, Ali ended Ronan Truman’s (Colin Tierney) life by pulling a fence post out of his abdomen after a car crash, but told the police Ronan had committed the fatal deed himself.
The villain had been trying to kill Ali’s mum, Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) and his brother, Ryan Connor (Ben Thompson), but he still struggled with the aftermath of what he’d done.
With this in mind, will Ali be able to pull off the same lie and plot something more sinister for Gary?
But things might just bubble over as Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) tells Gary about Maria comforting Ali.
Furious with the news, Gary hires a private investigater to find dirt on the doctor, in a bid to get Ali out the way.
Gary gets the detective to do more digging before managing to track down Ali’s hospital drug dealer.
Ryan, who has expereinced being on the wrong side of Gary, warns his brother not to mess with him but Ali gets the upper hand, finding Gary’s ledger at the furniture shop.
But when he approaches the builder threatening to reveal his dodgy dealings, will Ali regret messing with him?
Will Gary snap and finish the doctor once and for all?
Elsewhere on the cobbles, Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) is set to tie the knot with David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) next week.
But in true soap nature, it’ll be a close call as David is still inside after Josh Tucker (Ryan Clayton) lies about the attack during the prison riot.
Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) prepares to convince Josh to tell the truth until he’s spotted by Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) who asks what he’s doing.
Privvy to what went on between David and Josh, will Billy be able to change the villain’s mind?
Will David and Shona get their happily every after?
