When she was featured on The Voice as a mega mentor, Taylor Swift used the opportunity to troll member of the judge panel, Blake Shelton! Of course, it was all in good fun and their interaction actually turned out really funny!
Taylor claimed in a video that was shared with the world via social media that she was actually expecting to work alongside an entirely different Blake – Blake Lively!
The footage was posted on IG stories before the show’s taping and it also featured Shelton!
‘Here we are at The Voice,’ Taylor said as she put cat ears on the two of them.
Blake was starting to repeat what she’d just said when he looked back at the screen and noticed the filter: ‘Oh my gosh, I even got the eyes.’
‘Yeah, you get mascara as a cat. That’s one of the perks of being a cat,’ Taylor joked.

As fans know, Taylor Swift and Blake Lively are actually best of friends so joke or not, it makes sense she’d think of her.
It’s great to hear that she is not completely against working with Shelton either!
In fact, in a promo appearance for The Voice, Taylor tells the country crooner that she’d found one of her diaries since she was only 15 and trying to start her country music career!
