Ola Jordan displays growing baby bump with husband James after his Strictly comments

Ola Jordan, 37, attended the Pride of Britain Awards at Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Monday night, alongside husband, James Jordan, 41.

The Strictly pro-dancer sweetly cradled her nearly six-month bump as she glowed in a peach sequinned gown, with her blonde wavy locks styled in a chic side parting.

The floor length dress featured a sequinned bodice and a plunging neckline, with a full tulle skirt that skimmed over her growing stomach.

James and Ola announced they were expecting their “miracle” baby last month, after undergoing IVF.

The couple confirmed their news following a three-year fertility struggle, but were ecstatic when they found out they were pregnant after their first stage of IVF.

Taking to Twitter, the couple revealed the happy news to their followers: “I can’t actually believe I’m writing this but I’m so happy to say @TheJamesJordan and I are expecting a baby. We are both so excited to add a little munchkin into our family.”

Retweeting her message, James added: “Myself & @The_OlaJordan have been waiting for this moment for what seems like an eternity,” he wrote in the touching message.

“After being with each other for 20 years & our love for each other growing stronger every day we can now share our amazing news that we are expecting a baby!”

Ola revealed the couple were using IVF in an interview with the Mirror earlier this year: “I would love to be a mum with all my heart and I just thought it would happen naturally. I guess I just thought like most women that I could choose when the time was right for me.

“We are a very close couple and always have been. But going through this has made us stronger than ever,” she said, proudly.

James recently made waves after calling out Strictly bosses for replacing Alex Scott’s injured partner Neil Jones with Kevin Clifton last week.

He reasoned: “Gorka didn’t get a partner this year, not through his choice, so he should be there and given his chance to dance with Alex,” he argued. “Kevin’s had his chance.”

Ola wasn’t the only celebrity dazzling on the star-studded red carpet, as Strictly judges, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse made their debut, shrugging off comments about last weeks controversy.

Shirley wore a stunning purple patterned gown, featuring one caped sleeve which she teamed with a red lip.

Motsi opted for a red chiffon flowing dress, with a striking front split.

Holly Willoughby also screamed class as she arrived in a stunning fitted red dress with split sleeve that revealed a purple trim.

Good Morning Britain host, Susanna Reid, stunned as she opted for a silk fuchsia pink ballgown that glistened in the lights, featuring a bandeau neckline which she teamed with a remembrance poppy.

Britain’s got Talent judge, Amanda Holden made a glam arrival on red crutches, matching the carpet after breaking her leg in a holiday accident.

The Pride of Britain Awards host Carol Vorderman rocked an incredible red, busty dress that clinched in her tiny waist, showing off her curves.

The Pride of Britain Awards honours the achievements of everyday people doing extraordinary things, and helping make the world a better place.

The unsung heroes celebrate with some of the world’s biggest stars including Robert Downey Jr, Dua Lipa and the Prince of Wales.

Carol Vorderman said: “Pride of Britain is such a huge part of my life, it’s hard to believe it’s 20 years since we first started. In that time, it has found a place at the heart of British life, and the winners represent the very best of us.

“I never fail to be humbled by them, and this year’s are no different.”

The Pride of Britain Award will be broadcast on ITV on November 5 at 8pm.
