The NHC said Pablo “continued to rapidly weaken over the far North Atlantic”, and is “expected to lose tropical characteristics later this morning.”
Later this morning, Pablo is forecast to transition to a post-tropical cyclone, and to dissipate on Tuesday.
Pablo became the sixth hurricane of the 2019 Atlantic season, and potentially broke records in the process.
According to hurricane experts, Pablo was the northernmost hurricane to form so late and so far north on record.
