Oh, what a difference a few days can make. After entering the 2019 World Series as the favorite, the Houston Astros find themselves very much with their backs to the wall, down 2-0 in the best-of-seven series to the Washington Nationals. In Tuesday night’s Game 1 in Houston, Juan Soto and the well-rested Nats pulled off a road upset by putting up five runs against Astros ace Gerrit Cole. Wednesday night was even worse, with the Nationals piling on the offense to win 12-3.
Tonight is the Astros’ chance to start righting the ship, or else this series may end quickly. Game 3 starts at 8:07 p.m. ET (7:07 p.m. CT) on Fox. Zack Greinke takes the mound in DC for the Astros while Anibal Sanchez is on the hill for the Nats.

What does the World Series schedule look like?
The best-of-seven World Series continues Friday in Washington, DC. The broadcast for each game begins at 8 p.m. ET — that’s 7 p.m. CT for fans in Houston.
- Friday, Oct. 25: Houston at Washington, Game 3
- Saturday, Oct. 26: Houston at Washington, Game 4
- Sunday Oct. 27: Houston at Washington, Game 5 (if necessary)
- Tuesday, Oct. 29: Washington at Houston, Game 6 (if necessary)
- Wednesday Oct. 30: Washington at Houston, Game 7 (if necessary)
