Amber Portwood Gets A Plea Deal After Her Domestic Abuse Legal Problems!

The Teen Mom star is getting closer to completely moving on from her domestic battery scandal and arrest! According to new reports, Amber Portwood, who you may remember was arrested for attacking her now-ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Andrew Glennon, has managed to strike a plea deal!

That also means that Amber will not be serving any time behind bars, reports E! News.

Us Weekly shares that, as part of the plea deal, she will receive one felony charge as well as have to be under probation for a year!

Finally, after completing the said probation time, the reality TV star’s charge is expected to get changed from a felony to just a misdemeanor.

At the same time, she needs to deal with the fact that Glennon is seeking custody of their son, James in light of their altercation and her arrest in July.

In fact, initially, there was a no-contact order set in place between Amber and the baby boy but in the meantime, it’s been lifted by a judge.

Amber has been accused of attacking her baby daddy with a machete as well as hitting him with a shoe while he was even holding James in his arms, something the woman has vehemently denied.

She called the allegations ‘insane’ while chatting with Dr. Drew Pinsky back in September.

‘I opted out of drug court a long time ago to put myself in prison to help myself. You haven’t heard s**t from me since then. I haven’t got in trouble one time. But all of a sudden, I’m running after my kid and [Andrew] with a machete? You’re insane,’ she argued at the time.
