It might not be Black Friday just yet but Currys PC World are offering a huge array of price cuts for bargain hunters looking for tech deals ahead of the huge sale event next month.
If you’re in the market for a new 4K TV, you’re in luck, the high street giant has slashed the price on the latest models from top brands like Samsung and LG as well as other top home entertainment accessories.
Currys has also rolled out price drops on popular items like Apple’s latest iPads and Amazon’s smart home Echo devices, there are also lots of deals for gamers with up to £25 off of PlayStation 4 bundles.
One of the biggest deals on offer we have spotted is for Samsung’s 65-inch 4K TV, down to £1299 – a whopping saving of £500 off the original price. The TV features Adaptive Sound technology, 100% colour volume technology which eliminates washed-out colours and Samsung’s digital assistant, Bixby.
When is Black Friday 2019?
Black Friday is the biggest shopping event of the year, and this year it kicks off on November 29. Many major online and high street retailers start discounting up to a week before, so keep your eyes peeled from November 22 onwards for sale offers to start being released.
It Black Friday originated in the US as a post-Thanksgiving tradition, and has become a firm fixture in the calendar of many retailers worldwide Amazon bought it here in 2010 – although it was arguably Asda that raised the profile of the event with a huge sale in 2013.
What deals to expect from the Curry’s Black Friday sale?
Tech products are always big sellers on Black Friday, which makes Currys a prime place to find many discounts on everything from laptops, to kettles, to microwaves, to printers.
Last year saw steep discounts on home appliances as well as consumer tech. For example, the popular Dyson V6 vacuum cleaner dropped to less than £200, while there were £50 discounts on iPads.
